Pan-American Debating Championships 2016 ~ Campeonato Panamericano de Debate 2016 ~ Championats Pan-

The Pan-American Debating Championships 2016 took place March 15th to 22nd in Vancouver; Canada, engaging teams from Argentina, Bermudas, Canada, Chile, Mexico, Peru and the United States of America. The Argentine delegation was the largest in the tournament and the only one that took part in the three streams: English, Spanish and French, with great results.

The 24 students, from 16 public and private schools from buenos Aires, Mar del Plata and Mendoza, were selected and trained by the Argentine Debating association (A.D.A.).

The Argentine teams reached the French stream finals and the Spanish semifinals, achieving individual distinctions amongst the best speakers in the English and French divisions, including the best debater in the french stream.

We wish to deeply congratulate all debaters for their great commitment and the wonderful role they played representing us at the championship!

Del 15 al 22 de marzo tuvo lugar en Vancouver, Canadá, el Campeonato Panamericano de Debate 2016, en el que participaron equipos de Argentina, Bermudas, Canadá, Chile, Estados Unidos, México y Perú. La delegación argentina fue la más numerosa del torneo y la única que compitió en las tres divisiones: español, inglés y francés, con excelentes resultados.

Los 24 alumnos, provenientes de 16 colegios públicos y privados de Buenos Aires, Mar del Plata y Mendoza, fueron seleccionados y entrenados por la Asociación de Debate Argentina (A.D.A.)

Los equipos argentinos llegaron a la final de la división en francés y la semifinal en la división en español y cosecharon distinciones individuales entre los mejores oradores de las divisiones de inglés y francés, incluyendo la mejor oradora en lengua gala.
