Argentina: finalists at Old Parkland Debates ~ Argentina: finalistas en Old Parkland Debates
The Argentine Debating Association is extremely pleased to shate the news of Argentina's participation in the prestigious debate tournament Old Parkland Debates 2016, held in February in Dallas, Texas, United States of America!
Teams from Argentina; Canada; Dallas; England; Houston; London; Los Angeles; Mexico; Miami; New Orleans; New York; and Peru came together to kick off a new year of debating.
These were the teams Argentina faced in the preliminary rounds:
Round 1: Team Houston; Round 2: Team Mexico; Round 3: Team North Texas; Round 4: Team New York; and Round 5: Team Miami. Team Argentina reached the Tournament Final vs England. The motion: This House Believes that limiting civil rights to fight terrorism is counterproductive. We wish to thank the organizers for this wonderful experience and congratulate our team for their splendid performance in the first international tournament of the year!

La Asociación de Debate Argentina se encuentra extremadamente complacida en compartir las noticias de la participación de Argentina en el prestigioso torneo de debate Old Parkland Debates 2016, en Febrero en la Ciudad de Dallas, Texas, Estados Unidos de América! Equipos de Argentina; Canadá; Dallas; Inglaterra; Houston; Londres; Los Angeles; Mexico; Miami; Nueva Orleans; Nueva York; y Perú se reunieron para dar inicio a un nuevo año de debate.

El equipo argentino llego a la final del Torneo contra Inglaterra. La moción: esta Cámara cree que limitar los derechos civiles para luchar contra el terrorismo es contraproducente. Deseamos agradecer a los organizadores por esta maravillosa experiencia y felicitamos a nuestro equipo por su espléndida actuación en el primer torneo internacional del año!
